CANON NEOREAL WONDER

In
my previous post I told you that I would have posted a video about the project showed by Canon at the Fuorisalone.

This project, named "Neoreal - a world of new sensibility", was presented for the first time in 2008 during the Milan Design Week. For the 50th anniversary of the "Salone del Mobile" Neoreal introduces "Neoreal Wonder", a digital imaging reality where space and innovation coexist.

I

The project was made by Torafu Architects, a group of young Japanese architect from WOW,  visual design studio, very popular in Japan.
The exhibition took place at Superstudio Piu in Via Tortona where was installed a"Light Loom" a three-dimensional screen on which were projected the images.

Here the light was dissected in light beams (threads of light which have the same consistency of the air).
Viewers have the opportunity to plunge into a new visual experience, where light and images seem to blend. This screen uses three-dimensional wire leveling which takes light from multiple points, a new visual experience. The "screen of light beams" created the word WONDER whose letters appears like many threads.

Another project by Canon was the "Circle of Light" a continuous sequence of images that can not normally be seen at the same time...  Watch the video to realize what I'm talking about:

In this project, Canon makes a fusion of images and spaces and allow to experiment with new visual experiences.
For the construction they have been used a video camera and a Canon digital reflexwhile the projection is made through a Canon projectors.
What do you think?! I find it's simply amazing ...
