Questa mattina arrivata in ufficio ho aperto il sito dell'ANSA ed ecco scritta in primo piano la notizia del terremoto in Giappone. Un sisma devastante con scosse di magnitudo tra 8,8 e 6,7 le più potenti registrate nel Sol levante. A ora si stimano, secondo un'agenzia ufficiale giapponese di Kyodo, più di 1.000 le vittime. Lo tsunami con onde alte fino 10 metri provocato dal violento terremoto sta toccando anche le coste della California e nelle Hawaii. Tokyo é paralizzata. Crollate dighe. 1800 abitazioni distrutte. Onde anomale in tutto il Pacifico. Incendi ed esplosioni anche in raffinerie di petrolio.
A rischio le centrali nucleari. Pare che l'epicentro si trovi a 10 km di profondità e che l'asse terrestre si sia inclinata di ben 10 cm. Tutto il mondo si sta mobilitando per portare aiuti alle vittime di questa tragica catastrofe naturale.

Mi é sembrato giusto dedicare un post ad un evento così triste, purtroppo non esistono solo le sfilate, lo shopping, i viaggi e il divertimento...
Pare che la "maledizione" del numero 11 non sia ancora finita....11/03/2011 un'altra data che non dimenticheremo.
This morning when I arrived in my office I opened the ANSA and I immediately read the news of the earthquake in Japan. A devastating earthquake of magnitude between 8.8 and 6.7.
According to an official Japanese agency in Kyodo now we can estimate more than 1,000 victims. The tsunami, with waves 10 meters hight caused by the violent earthquake, is touching now the California and Hawaii coasts. Tokyo is paralyzed. 1800 houses collapsed, streets were destroyed. Waves across the Pacific. Fires and explosions in oil refineries. Risk at nuclear power plants. The epicenter is 10 km deep. All over the world governements are bringing aids to the victims of this tragic natural disaster.
